  • The company VALNEXT was created in July 2007.

  • The shareholders and founders of the company, Simon Rosenblatt & Christine Verpeaux are from the world of finance and have been responsible for bond fund management, auditing, risk rate management, and financial research (having published articles).

  • Based in center of Paris, the company employs two IT engineers and researchers in finance.
 

Simon Rosenblatt

President of VALNEXT, Simon Rosenblatt, is a statistician economist, graduate from ENSAE (Ecole nationale de la statistique et de l’administration économique), membre of IAF (Institut des actuaires français), graduate of SFAF (Société française des analystes financiers) and holds a Masters of Mathematics from the University of Paris VI.

  • He worked as Treasurer, responsible for Fixed Income management at several financial establishments, including the Caisses d'Epargne (French savings & loans). He was Inspector Expert, specialized in overseeing operations of the OTC bond market for the AMF (French market authority) for 9 years until November 2006.

  • He has published several research articles in the Bank & Market Journal and for the International Actuaries Congress (Orlando 1994), on the subjects of ALM and Option models.

  • He was the co-author of several articles in the French financial market Authority revue (CMF which has become the AMF) : notes about commercializing OTC derivatives and the French option market (MONEP), an article on Bond Brokers.

Christine Verpeaux

Christine Verpeaux, graduated from the ENSAE, CFA Institute and GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals).

  • She was a Fixed Income Analyst at Nomura, Deutsche Bank and HSBC where she was responsible for ethics management.
  • She is a derivatives and risk management specialist and presents at bank and fund management seminars.
